One day in the beer garden in the evening, after 9 p.m. there was no more dessert! Another evening in the restaurant, we had to bypass the fish twice because it wasn't done yet. The service stands and falls with the staff, very fluctuating / different. The salad, as well as the burger of the other guests, was delicious. AMBIENTE is beautiful too

Super great restaurant. The kitchen is great and apart from the restaurant manager, I think the staff are great and very courteous. Even if the restaurant manager is certainly competent, I would still like to encourage you to think about whether you put her in direct customer contact. Otherwise keep doing it, we always like to come back. And I think it's great how the Corona rules are adhered to here. I've always felt very safe.

Super tasty, was a poem. Nice friendly service, great kitchen. We celebrated the confirmation of our children here. Really OK in terms of price, is definitely worth a visit. When the weather is nice, you can also sit in the beer garden.

We were here for the first time and we were very impressed by the Holstein Mühle. Great property, the service was very friendly. What bothered us was the volume. It felt like a station concourse, but the food was tasty.

The ambience is great, nice country style with modern accents. The food is good but not outstanding. All in all, the price-performance ratio is good.

The owner has conjured up a really good restaurant with a wonderful ambience from Holstein's mill. You immediately feel at home, especially in the evenings the guest room is very atmospheric. The service was very friendly and accommodating - you never had to look for the service, they looked after us so regularly. The food was also convincing: the Vitello tonnato was a generous size and tasted very good, as was the carrot and ginger soup. The entrecôte was perfectly fried, the side dishes were all very good and fresh. Only the goat cheese, which was ordered as a main course, was a bit too sweet for our taste due to the numerous fruits etc., but understandable that it meets the taste of some. All in all a very nice and successful evening. We would have been happy to have received a note when placing the order that the mineral water is treated Bergisches drinking water.

The Holsteins Mühle offers good food in a beautiful location. The waiter was unfortunately very incompetent. When asked about the soups of the day, he threw us his note on which we should then decipher what it would be. In general, it all took a long time, whether it was placing orders or until the food came. Unfortunately, the majority of the orders arrived incorrectly.

What a wonderful place. Surrounded by forests and places to visit and stay. Excellent food also for vegetarians. Friendly owners and staff. They also have fully renovated rooms in this historic mill.

Been here for a corporate event and this restaurant was one of the highlights of the day. The place is located in the middle of the forest with a small sea. Our dinner was on beautiful patio made of wood. Sourounded by nothing but nature and great hospitality. The staff was caring, professional, lovely and funny. Only to be topped by the amazing food which was served by the cooks with a little (and not too nerdy) description by the chef. Great place!

Restaurant gem with beautiful beer garden in an old mill. Holstein’s Muehle is a beautiful restaurant with innovative cuisine and beer garden, a short car ride from Cologne. Perfect for a day or weekend trip. The owners lovingly restored a former mill and turned it into a culinary destination. The weekend brunch is amazing. A broad selection of breads, cheeses, cold cuts, salads, antipasti, egg dishes, bacon, cakes and desserts. The dinner menu changes seasonally, featuring innovative takes on classics, such as Waikiki burger. Lots of vegetarian options. There is a gorgeous event space in the back of the restaurant building, overlooking two ponds, perfect for weddings. Staff was lovely! We had a fantastic time. Will be back!

Went to a friends wedding here in the summer. This location is very remote and looks beautiful. The staff are very friendly and the food was very nice.
